As part of their Mental Health Awareness Spirit Week, CIS staff and students participated in a mental health walk on Thursday afternoon. They also took time out to "chalk the walk," in other words, writing to spread positivity around the CAS campus.

Hello 6th and 7th grade parents. I wanted to inform you all of our middle school awards assemblies coming up the last week of school.
6th grade awards assembly will be on June 5th at 1:45 in the Middle School Gym.
7th grade awards assembly will be on June 7th at 10:15 in the Cafeteria.

The last day to sign up for 6-8 grade summer school will be this Friday May 24th. If your child was invited to summer school and you would like them to attend, please have them return the registration to the middle school office by tomorrow!. Thank you and have a great day!

Today was the annual school lunch at Cheboygan Intermediate School and Cheboygan Middle School. A huge thank you to our food service staff, which consists of Barb Borowicz, Abbey Smith, Janet Schott, Leslie Jonas, Andrea Fisher, and John Galacz. They prepared and served a great lunch, which included hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, baked beans, watermelon, taco salad, pasta salad, chips, and ice cream. Thank you!




Congratulations to our middle school girls track team. They won the Straits Area Conference championship (league meet) up in St. Ignace yesterday. Congrats on a great season!


Students from the intermediate school went to the Opera House yesterday to watch the GRAMMY Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers.







The following Middle School Camps are full and have a waiting list! Cooking, Lifetime Sports and Archery/Robotics. However, we still have a few openings for Paper Mache, Drama, Painting and Leadership. If interested, sing up soon and they will all be full!

This is a reminder for our 6th grade students to turn in their permission forms to Mrs. Hayden by May 22nd!


Congratulations to our middle school girls track team. They took first place yesterday at the Inland Lakes Invitational.


Just a reminder that the Book Fair is open Mon-Fri this week. Parents can stop in to shop during the school day. It is also open before school at 7:45 and after school until 3:30. Included is our ewallet option. Parents can set one up from this website.

On Friday, students from CIS and CMS had the opportunity to attend the sturgeon release at the Kleber Dam in Onaway. As part of the Sturgeon in the Classroom program, Cosmic had been with us since October.
