Students in Mrs. Fox’s room made butter by shaking a jar of heavy cream as part of their lesson on perseverance. It was hard work, but they learned that a positive mindset, teamwork and patience can have a delicious outcome.
Mrs. Chase’s 4th graders had fun learning about forces and motion today with a ping pong ball and a golf ball. It was really interesting to discover why the objects reacted the way they did when dropped from the top of a step stool.

The Cheboygan High School Choir has finished their holiday season, from caroling at East Elementary School for the Kindergarten-2nd Grade students to performing at the Cheboygan Opera House last night. Ms. Saffords high school intro to teaching class came to the intermediate school to be reading buddies with Mrs. Chase and Mrs. Bryant’s 4th grade classes. A great time was had by all!
