Picture Day Online Ordering Information! October 3rd is Picture Day for Intermediate and Middle School. Below is the information and codes for online ordering. Please take note each school has a different code so choose the right code for your child's school.
A huge thank you to Mrs. Johnson for putting on the Middle Schools first student birthday party of the year! Students with birthdays in September and some summer birthdays were celebrated today!
I had the opportunity to watch one of Mrs. Dobias' science labs in action today. Kids were all engaged and having fun!
The first Homework Help of the year will be WEDNESDAY, 09/18/24. Homework help will be on Monday and Wednesday from 2:50 until 4:00. Students must be in Mrs. Johnson's room before 3:00 if they plan on attending.
Students must have a signed parent permission slip turned in to me before they can attend. The permission slips can be found either on the desk outside of Mrs. Johnson's office OR in the main office.
Parents and Guardians,
Please be sure to contact the main office if your child is absent. If the absences is due to an appointment or medical reason, please ask the provider for a note so the absence is coded correctly. Thank you!
Another beautiful morning at CIS...
A great day to start the year at CIS.
Tonight's Open House at CIS/CMS was a huge success. In addition to our great teaching staff, we would also like to give a great big shout out and thank you to our amazing food service staff (they served hot dogs, chips, and bottled water), the City of Cheboygan Police Department, Cheboygan County Sheriff's Department, Michigan State Police, City of Cheboygan Fire Department, and Cheboygan County Life Support (ambulance). This was truly a community event. It was really amazing to see the smiles on the faces of our students, both as they entered the building and exited it. This evening put a strong foundation in place for an exciting school year ahead.

Second, third, fourth, and fifth grade students from Cheboygan Intermediate School went on their summer school field trip(s) today, including stops at the Soo Locks Boat Tours, Castle Rock, Fort Michilimackinac, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse, a tour under the Mackinac Bridge, and finally ice cream at Dairy Queen.

Day two of summer school at CIS is in the books (no pun). There is a lot of teaching, learning, and having fun occurring.
